PURPOSE:To shorten an operation time and to prevent an operation mistake, by individually calculating an indentification width at every component peak to automatically set the same by measuring the holding time of each component to be identified and the time between (peak start point) - (peak top point) and (peak top point) - (peak end point) of each component. CONSTITUTION:When an identification table is formed, a standard specimen is measured at first and the holding time (TRn) of each component peak is measured to be stored in the identification table. Next, the time difference (TWn) between identification peaks is calculated. Successively, the time (Tfn) from the peak rising point of each identification peak to the peak top point thereof is calculated and, further, the time (Tbn) from the peak top point of each identification peak to the peak end point thereof is calculated. Then, the shorter time among the times Tfn, Tbn is selected to be multiplied integer times and a max. integer multiples value which does not exceed the time TWn/2 is set as the max. tolerant width value to automatically set the tolerant width of an identification peak.
