PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-weight secondary battery which satisfactory in current collecting properly from an electrode group. SOLUTION: This secondary battery has an electrode group 1 with a positive electrode and a negative electrode wound via a separator, a cylindrical container 2 with the electrode group 1 contained together with an electrolyte, and an output terminal 3 led out from an end face of the container 2. The positive or negative electrode of the electrode group 1 are connected electrically to the output terminal 3 via a lead plate 4, the lead plate 4 is ultrasonically welded with a side face of a prismatic part 5 provided in the output terminal 3, the prismatic part 5 is formed into a hexagonal prism to provide at least one pair of parallel side faces. |
