PURPOSE:To improve working efficiency and low-temp. toughness by incorporating respectively specific weight % of TiO2, B, Ni, and deoxidizing agent respectively int the entire part of a wier and adding N at the ratio satisfying the prescribed formula in correlation with Ni into a sheath metal. CONSTITUTION:1.5-10% TiO2, 0.001-0.0050% B, 0.2-3.5% Ni, and 0.8-6.0% deoxidizing agent except Al are incorporated by the weight of the total weight of the wire into the wire. The content of Al by the total weight of the wire is further limited to<=0.08% N is added within the range to satisfy the formula in correlation to Ni into the components of the sheath metal, by which the flux cored wire is formed. Since the wire contains N in the correct correlative relation with the Ni, the deposited TiN improves together with the Ni the low-temp. toughness in addition to the characteristics of the TiO2-base flux cored wire. The welding workability is thereby improved and the low-temp. toughness and welding performance are improved.
