PURPOSE:To recover a spacer without flaw, by providing a 1st spacer with heat insulation adjacent to a sample, a 2nd spacer adjacent to the 1st spacer at the open part of a vessel, and a cover member for sealing the vessel. CONSTITUTION:The 1st spacer 6 made of quartz, the 2nd spacer 7 and a sample 2 are inserted in an ampoule body 1, and a clearance 5'' between the cover member 3 and the 2nd spacer 2 is made as small as possible, and the open part is welded to seal by the high temp. jet flame of an oxygen-hydrogen burner. As an end part 7' is not welded to the ampoule body 1, the end part 3' of the cover member 3 is connected to a vacuum discharge unit to make the inside of the ampoule body 1 in a specified vacuum. Then, a seal-cutting part 8 is cut by melting with the oxygen-hydrogen burner to carry out the vacuum sealing of the ampoule body 1.
