MIXING OF GRANULAR RESIN AND ITS DEVICE

PURPOSE:To prevent the fusing of granular resin to the inner wall of a vessel, by covering the inner wall of a mixing vessel with frost layer or ice layer and then putting granular resin and additives etc. therein to mix them in said vessel. CONSTITUTION:Mixing vessel 10 is a jacket structure of which wall is hollow molded and cooled by a cooler 18. Water is sprayed from the nozzle 26 of a spraying device 24 onto the inner wall 10A composing the side face and bottom face of said vessel 10 to form frost layer or ice layer. A through-hole 34 is formed in the central part of said vessel 10 to insert the rotating shaft 36 of an agitator into said through-hole 34, and rotating blades 38, 40 are fit on the upper part of said rotating shaft 36. Granular resin being original grain or powder resin and additive such as plasticizer and the like are put from feed openings 48-50 into the resin grain mixing vessel in which frost or ice layer is formed. As resin grain does not come into contact directly with the inner wall of said vessel, its fusing is prevented.
