<p>PURPOSE:To arbitrarily select a desired picture even with an unmanned transmission side by selecting the frame rate of the picture and a parameter such as resolution on a reception side. CONSTITUTION:The picture signal inputted to a picture input terminal 1 selects one of plural picture coders 10 to 12 and picture decoders 30 to 32, it is processed and transmitted, and the selection is executed for the both transmission side and reception side by means of a switching control signal from a switching control terminal 3 on the reception side. Consequently, only a person to watch the picture can change the frame rate of the currently watched picture and the parameter such as color information during the transmission of the picture. Thus, the respective types of the pictures can be selected while the pictures during the transmission is being watched on the reception side.</p> |
