<p>PURPOSE:To enable a variable resistor to be firmly fixed to a printed-circuit board without generating any play between a reinforcing member and the printed-circuit board by providing the reinforcing member while it is partially embedded into the printed-circuit board. CONSTITUTION:A first or a third terminal 23 or 25 and a reinforcing members 26 and 27 are formed by each one part of a common metal plate 36. Then, each part of the terminal 23 or 25 and the reinforcing members 26 and 27 are inserted into a mold to form a printed-circuit board 21. The printed-circuit board 21 has a square pole part 37 and a cylindrical part 38 when viewed from the direction of thickness. After the printed-circuit board 21 is obtained, a metal plate 36 is cut along a cutting line 47 or 51 shown using an alternate long and short dash line. Then, the reinforcing members 26 and 27 are folded along folded curves 52 and 53 shown using the alternate long and short dash line. Thus, when a desired installation status is attained, the variable resistor is firmly fixed to the printed-circuit board by the reinforcing members 26 and 27.</p> |
