PURPOSE:To obtain the silver picture of the subject material with excellent blackness by incorporating dispersedly a specified dyestuff in the rear surface layer of the photosensitive material existing in the opposite side of an emulsion surface sensitized with a specified sensitizing dye by dissolving the dyestuff in a water-insoluble and high b.p. org. solvent. CONSTITUTION:The dyestuff having an absorption max. value of 570-700mmu is incorporated dispersedly in the rear surface layer of the photosensitive material existing in the opposite side of the emulsion surface sensitized with the sensitizing dye shown by formula I by dissolving the dyestuff in a water- insoluble and high b.p. org. solvent. In formula I, Z1 and Z2 are each halogen atom or a lower alkyl group, etc., R1 and R2 are each a lower alkyl or hydroxyalkyl group, etc., when n3 is 1, R3 is a lower alkyl group or hydrogen atom, when n3 is 0 or 2, R3 is hydrogen atom, n1 and n2 are each 0 or 1, n3 is 0, 1 or 2, X<theta> is an anion, (m) is 1 or 2. Thus, the silver picture of the photosensitive material with improved blackness is obtd. |
