PURPOSE:To provide high performance, high sensitivity and excellent durability by using a specific high polymer as a binder for a charge transfer layer. CONSTITUTION:The high-polymer compd. expressed by the formula I is used as the binder for the charge transfer (CT) layer. In the formula, R1 to R4 denotes 1 to 6C alkyl group or aryl group contg. deriv., such as phenyl and benzyl; n denotes >=2 integer. This high-polymer binder can realize the excellent characteristics as the photosensitive body when combined with a suitable CT material. Since the high polymer has film formability, the polymer can form the CT layer without requiring an ordinary binder resin and since the high polymer itself has a photoconductive characteristic, the high sensitivity is obtd. by using this high polymer. Since the high polymer has high thermal stability, the CT layer having the excellent durability is formed. |
