PURPOSE:To enable to operate a train so as to simultaeously satisfy evaluation indexes over multiple dimensions by controlling the train speed between stations by using control constant in response to the degree of improvements for the rate to energy consumption and the riding comfort. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of control constants in response to requests for the shortening of traveling time, deletion of energy consumption or improvement in the riding comfort are prepared previously, the values of evaluation indexes of the traveling time, energy consumption and riding comfort of the results that the train travels are obtained by using either one control constant in each zone divided into one or more between stations, and stored in a table. Before starting, the indexes of the traveling time, energy consumption and riding comfort are read out, the combination of the control constants which coincide with the read- out indexes is searched previously, and the travel in the respective zones are controlled on the basis of the constants. |
