PURPOSE:To carry out water culture without contamination with microorganisms or iron rust by using a microbicide and rust-proofing agent mainly composed of zinc oxide whisker and a material supporting microbicide ion source such as silver, copper or zinc (compound) capable of eluting microbicide ions. CONSTITUTION:Sanitary and efficient culture of plants is carried out while preventing generation or growth of microorganisms such as bacteria or algae, agar-agar-like materials or iron rust by using a microbicide and rust-proofing agent mainly composed of a carrier such as calcium carbide, calcium phosphate or ceramics adsorbing and supporting silver, copper, zinc or their metal compound as an microbicide ion source capable of eluting microbicide ions and zinc oxide whisker having a single crystal tetrapot-shaped three dimensional structure. |
