PURPOSE:To reduce number of 2-input 1-output selectors remarkably in the shifter, to integrate other circuit simultaneously in the case of circuit integration and to attain the high speed operation of the shifter. CONSTITUTION:Selectors SEL11-SEL81 of a 1st column of 2-input 1-output selectors SELij (i:1-8, j:1-3) disposed in a 8-rowsX3-columns matrix shift 8-bit data inputted via input terminals DI1-DI8 toward the high-order bits based on a control signal S0 by one bit each. Selectors SEL12-SEL82 of a 2nd column switch and select outputs of the Selectors SEL11-SEL81 of the 1st column based on a control signal S1 to shift input data by 2-bits. Selectors SEL13-SEL83 of a 3rd column switch and select outputs of the Selectors SEL11-SEL81 of the 1st column based on a control signal S2 to shift the input data by 4-bits. |
