PURPOSE:To provide an inexpensive parameter input device capable of easily setting a parameter of a wide range with one operating element by selecting a conversion table in accordance with information of a moving amount and moving speed of the operating element. CONSTITUTION:A parameter input device 20 delivers a table data to show a current position of a data slider in accordance with a scan signal, and a CPU 10 memorizes it in an RAM 12. Thereafter, a previous scan data and a current scan data are compared with each other, and when the previous scan data and the current scan data are different from each other, computation of a difference data is carried out. In the meantime, in the case when an input data is table-converted by the difference data and the difference data is higher than a specified value, a conversion table of a fine data unit is selected. By using the conversion table selected in this way, the input data input from the data slider of the parameter input device 20 is converted and saved in a parameter register. |
