DECODER FOR BLOCK CONVERSION CODE

摘要

PURPOSE:To improve the quality of a decoded picture by improving the accuracy of estimate when an important word generated in block coding is in error and the important word is estimated by using surrounding decoding data. CONSTITUTION:An important word estimate circuit 8 uses the least square method to use a decoded value of surrounding data and a coded value of a noticed block thereby estimating importance words DR, MIN of the noted block. An ADRC decoding circuit 9 uses the estimated DR, MIN to execute decoding. A discrimination circuit 10 discriminates the similarity of a decoded value of the noted block and a decoded value of surrounding data to generate a flag fig. The flag fig is referenced to exclude unsimilar data and an important word estimate circuit 11 makes estimate again. An ADRC decoding circuit 12 makes decoding by using an important word from the circuit 11.
