The present invention provides a resistance temperature sensor which prevents an inhibiting of the uniformity of the temperature distribution, which was caused by heat, which was generated in a resistive circuit and flows in a carrier part, by means of which a large output signal is obtained from the resistance temperature sensor. The temperature sensor in accordance with the invention contains a resistance circuit which is provided with a first, second and third region with different resistance values in such a way that the third region, which is in the vicinity of the carrier part, has the largest resistance value, in order to produce a high heating value.
