Technical problem: conventional treatment couches have one-part or multi-part horizontal platforms whose surface elasticity is not variable and whose surface is as a rule not heated. Moreover, the conventional couches do not offer any vibrating massage. The problem on which the innovation is based is to provide variable surface elasticity, surface heating and a vibrating device for massage purposes. Solution to the problem: the technical problem has been solved in that a) a pneumatic device in combination with an air chamber system integrated in the horizontal platform was produced which ensures variability of the surface elasticity, b) an electrical mattress heating was developed, and c) a vibrating device was developed which exerts a muscle-relaxant effect on the treatment area. Applications: The invention is primarily used in massage, physiotherapy or kinesitherapy. The innovation can be used as a substitute for the conventional treatment couches, or else as a modular functional supplement to existing equipment.
