<p>PURPOSE: To enable an end user to obtain simultaneous reproduction of specified recording materials by compressing an input signal from a source, storing the input signal in a memory part in a recording mode, simultaneously reactivating a control part to enable a memory interface part to access, simultaneously retrieving a recorded material from a selected area of the memory and performing simultaneous realtime reproduction by plural outputs in a reproduction mode. CONSTITUTION: In a recording mode, an input signal received from a source 10 is compressed 17 and stored in the memory part 12 in a proper form. Then in the reproduction mode, the control part 13 is reactivated to instruct the memory interface part 14 to access to the memory part 12, and the specified recorded materials are simultaneously retrieved from the selected area of the memory 12. Plural reproducing requests are received by the interface part 14, properly arranged bytes are retrieved from the memory part 12, the simultaneous realtime reproduction of plural outputs is performed, and information is transferred to an extending part 18.</p> |
