发明名称 INTERNAL REFORMING FUEL CELL
摘要 PURPOSE:To properly lower differential pressure between an anode and a cathode, heighten the reforming rate of a fuel gas, prevent contamination of a reforming catalyst, and increase hydrogen concentration in an anode gas by installing a separating membrane in a reformer. CONSTITUTION:A separating membrane 30 having a hydrogen separating function separating a gas mainly comprising hydrogen from a reformed gas is installed in a reformer 24. The membrane 30 is a porous membrane having a hydrogen selectively separating function at 600-700 deg.C, and since hydrogen produced in a hydrogen chamber 28 is immediately separated by the membrane 30, high reforming rate is obtained even at the operation temperature (about 600-700 deg.C) of a fuel cell 22. Since a reforming catalyst does not come directly in contact with an electrolyte of the fuel cell 22, it is not contaminated. A gas separated with the membrane 30 and sent from the hydrogen chamber 28 enters an anode gas 1, and the fuel gas passed through a reforming chamber 26 is burned in a combustor 34 then enters a cathode gas 3. Differential pressure between an anode and a cathode is properly lowered, and hydrogen concentration in the anode gas and the carbon dioxide concentration in a cathode gas are increased.
