PURPOSE:To allow the device to maintain an excellent offset preventive capacity with respect to a large quantity of passing paper, by interposing and installing an inner layer, a surface layer and an intermediate layer to an oil impregnated layer so that oil is spread uniformly over the whole surface of a fixing roller. CONSTITUTION:Oil A whose viscosity is dropped by being subjected to heating of a fixing roller K1 passes through a through-hole 12 and infiltrated and diffused toward a surface layer 23 of an oil impregnated layer 2, and first of all, diffused while being controlled as to its flow rate in a fiber layer for forming an inner layer 21. Also, an intermediate layer 22 formed by sponge rubber runs along a boundary surface 3 of the inner layer 21 and the intermediate layer 22, and extends in the direction made by its surface. The intermediate layer 22 is brought into contact with the surface layer 23 consisting of a fiber layer whose permeability is safisfactory and whose density is low, therefore, in the intermediate layer 22, oil is transfer to the surface layer 23, and simultaneously, diffused in the direction for running along the layer in the surface layer 23. As a result, oil is distributed uniformly in the vicinity of the surface of the surface layer 23 which is pressed against the roller K1, and supplied evenly to the roller surface of the roller K1. In such a way, the offset preventive capacity can be maintained. |
