PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a device which requires an extremely small space, cools/ heats a chocolate compound to a precise prescribed temperature during staying in a device to closely blend the chocolate compound and can promote the generation 'β' crystal to keep an extremely short processing time. SOLUTION: This temperature adjusting device consists of a position-fixed member 2 which cooperates with a rotatably pivoted member 3 and is provided with entrances 36, 31 and 50 supplying a liquid for adjusting a temperature, exits 33, 54 and 37 and the entrances 38 and exit 15 of a product to be processed. In this case, the device is composed of a position-fixed member in the shape of a circular disk and a rotatably pivoted and the disk is provided with coaxially arranged annular projections 13 and 17 on its opposed faces. The projection 13 of one disk 12 is inserted to an annular recess formed between the projections 17 of another disk 16 and meandering-state transition extending to the exit of a processed product from the entrance 38 of the product to be processed by looking by a cross section. Then channel 15 and 19 for liquid for adjusting temperature are provided under the peripheral surface of a metallic panel forming the coaxially arranged projections 13 and 17.
