PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the two-way transmission system for pulse information coping sufficiently with revision of relation of quantity between a transmission speed of an incoming signal and that of an outgoing signal. SOLUTION: A 1st point sends a transmission pulse train whose pulse transmission time slot is set, at a prescribed time interval to a single transmission line 4 installed between the 1st point and a 2nd point. The 2nd point sends again a loopback pulse train to the transmission line 4 while using at least one time slot in each unit transmission period being plural periods of the transmission pulse train for an incoming transmission time slot to send incoming pulse information in the incoming direction from the 2nd point to the 1st point. The 1st point uses the other time slots than the incoming pulse transmission time slot in each unit transmission period for the outgoing pulse transmission time slots.
