PURPOSE:To eliminate the necessity of a high-speed pnp transistor by connecting an emitter follower circuit using an npn transistor and a load resistor to a differential pair of collectors constituting a voltage follower circuit. CONSTITUTION:The base of a transistor 2 is connected to a resistor 10, which other end is connected to a power source, together with the collector and the emitter of an emitter follower transistor 11, which collector is connected to the power source, is connected through a load resistor 12 to a signal line. Then, the collector of a transistor 7 is connected to the power source and the voltage follower circuit is composed of transistors 6, 7 and 11 and load resistor 12. Thus, without requiring the high-speed pnp transistor at all, a high-speed clamp circuit can be obtained with a simple process at low cost. |
