ELECTRONIC SEALING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic sealing method with which even a computer to be operated in stand-alone without requiring any large scale data base can be operated as well. SOLUTION: When there is a sealing instruction from an input means such as a mouse, identification information is inputted to a sealing instructor (210-240). Whether sealing is enabled or not is judged by comparing this identification information with user information previously stored on a storage medium such as a floppy disk (250) and when it is judged in this sealing possibility judgement step that sealing is enabled, an imprint image is stuck on an electronic file (260) and collation information in one-to-one correspondence to the stuck imprint image is written in the managing area of the relevant electronic file (270).
