PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a miniaturized sheet-like battery increased in capacity. SOLUTION: A lithium polymer battery is provided with a sheet-like positive electrode 2 using lithium containing metal oxide as active material and having a positive electrode collector, a sheet-like separator 1 laminated and arranged on a sheet-like positive electrode 2 main face and supporting electrolyte, a sheet-like negative electrode 3 using carbonaceous material storing and discharging lithium metal or lithium laminated and arranged on a sheet-like separator 1 main face as active material and having a negative collector, outer facing resin films 4, 5 sealing an electrode element comprising a laminated body comprising the sheet-like electrodes 2, 3 and the sheet-like separator 1, and positive and negative both electrode terminals 2a, 3a one ends of which are respectively connected to the collectors of the sheet-like electrodes 2, 3, are bent 2a', 3a' along the end faces of the electrode elements and form the same faces in parallel to a battery main face, and the other ends of which are sealing led outside the outer facing resin films 4, 5. One part of the periphery-overlapping sealed portion of the outer facing resin films 4, 5 is sandwiched by a sandwiching jig 6 so as to form the lithium polymer battery. |
