PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup using laser beams with a wavelength used for reproducing information from a disk different from the wavelength used for recording the information on the disk each other. SOLUTION: A collimation lens 12 collimates the laser beam outgoing from a laser light source. A color aberration correction part is provided with prisms 23, 24 of material of diffusiveness different from each other, and these prisms 23, 24 beam shape and diffuse the laser beam collimated by the collimating lens 12, and color aberration of a light spot formed on the disk 17 caused by that the wavelength of a first laser beam is different from the wavelength of a second laser beam is corrected. The beam shaped and diffused laser beam is converged on the disk 17 by an objective lens 16. |
