PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance sensitivity, and improve a jitter, and a block error rate at high speed printing. SOLUTION: In an optical recording medium in which a recording layer capable of information writing and/or reading by laser beams is formed on a substrate, an organic coloring matter and an additive whose molar extinction coefficient at maximum absorption wavelength of 450-600 nm of UV-Vis absorption in an organic solvent changes at least 3% by adding at least two mole of an acidic compound of pH 5 or below per mole of the additive are incorporated in the recording layer. |
