PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the elongation or the deterioration of an intermediate transfer body due to the heat of a fixing device by providing an intermediate transfer body cleaner arranged between the intermediate transfer body and the fixing device and removing residue on the intermediate transfer body. SOLUTION: By providing the intermediate transfer body cleaner 40 arranged between the intermediate transfer body B and the fixing device F and removing the residue on the transfer body B, the heat of the device F is prevented from being transmitted to the transfer body B. Therefore, the transfer body B is prevented from being elongated or deteriorated due to the heat of the device F. The cleaner 40 is warmed by the heat of the device F, and toner recovered to the cleaner 40 is solidified by the heat. Therefore, the toner recovered in the cleaner 40 hardly spills in the case of detaching the cleaner 40 from an image forming device main body. |
