When clamping jaws (1) of the corkscrew are clamped around the neck of the bottle to be uncorked, the drill member (6), having a sharp tip, rotates into the cork when the sleeve (8) is fixed on the ring element (5a) of a support frame. The cork is pulled out of the bottle when the sleeve is released from the ring element by screwing down the nut (7) which adjoins the upper closure face of the ring element.
