Method for the optimization of commercial fuel combustion which, exploiting complex physical-chemical principles, considerably reduces its emissions. It consists in an appliance which intercepts the intake duct and by which a portion of the combustion air is conveyed into a vessel equipped on its inside walls with a photocatalyst, either solid or supported, bathed in a water solution with some salts diluted in it. The air conveyed in the vessel and the water solution are irradiated by a light source emitting in the interval of visible UV. This portion of air, after irradiation, is conveyed in the pipe leading to the combustion chamber where it is mixed with the remaining not-treated air. |
