PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement dispersant capable of improving the dispersion characteristics of stiff concrete while maintaining viscosity and properties with respect to the exhibition of strength of the concrete, or improving dispersion retentivity of the stiff concrete while maintaining excellent dispersion characteristics and viscosity of the concrete, under various production conditions of the stiff concrete. SOLUTION: This cement dispersant contains: a copolymer mixture A obtained by copolymerizing a specific monomer A1 such as ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a polyoxyalkylene group, and another specific monomer A2 such as (meth)acrylic acid, wherein the monomer molar ratio of A1/A2 is at least once changed in the process of the copolymerization reaction; and a copolymer B obtained by copolymerizing a specific monomer B1 such as ethylenically unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a polyoxyalkylene group, and another specific monomer B2 such as (meth)acrylic acid. |
