PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device where no color slurring is generated in an image even when a transfer roll is of eccentric. SOLUTION: In the image forming device provided with an intermediate transfer belt 12 (intermediate transfer body) that are rotated and driven, a multiple number of image forming units 20Y, 20M, 20C and 20K (image forming means) each forming an image of a different color on the intermediate transfer belt 12, that are installed along the intermediate transfer belt 12 at a specified pitch and a transfer roll 34 provided in contact with the intermediate transfer belt 12 to transfer the image formed by each image forming unit to paper, the peripheral length of the transfer roll 34 is made to be equivalent to the pitch (P).
