PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a treating agent which effectively fixes or decomposes harmful materials contained in ash, e.g. dioxins and heavy metallic compounds to make the ash harmless and can effectively diminish even a foul odor emitted from the ash. SOLUTION: The treating agent which makes dioxin-containing ash harmless is obtained by dissolving a trivalent aluminum salt, a trivalent iron salt, an alumina potassium salt, an alkali metallic salt and an alkaline earth metallic salt in solvent water. Preferably the alkali metallic salt is potassium sulfate (K2SO4) and the alkaline earth metallic salt is magnesium sulfate (MgSO4). |
