MANUFACTURING METHOD OF BULB

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To tightly connect an eyelet part to a lead-in wire by enhancing a welding strength between the lead-in wire and eyelet part even if the aperture of a through hole of the eyelet part varies much or the shape or dimension of a small piece comprising a conductive metal varies much. SOLUTION: When a base 4 is fitted to the end part of a bulb body 3, a lead-wire 7 drawn out of the bulb body 3 is inserted into a through hole 11 and led out of an eyelet part 12. At least a part of a tapered part 22 of a small piece 21 comprising a conductive metal is inserted into the through hole 11 from a side at which the diameter of the tapered part 22 is smaller, so that a part of the tapered part 22 abuts the inside surface of the through hole 11, for the small piece 21 to be held in the through hole 11. Then the small piece 21 is fused by a plasma arc so that the lead-in wire 7 is connected to the eyelet part 12.
