PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a configuration capable of ameliorating a display defect of a signal processing apparatus etc., which can be used for a display apparatus constituting a screen by being two-dimensionally arrayed with a plurality of pixels. SOLUTION: The signal processing device to which a signal obtained by performing orthogonal transform of a video signal corresponding to a plurality of pixels is to be inputted includes a correction circuit 2 for correcting the orthogonal-transformed signal, by using correction values obtained by performing orthogonal transform equivalent to the orthogonal transform on measured values obtained by measuring nonuniformity of display characteristics of a display apparatus, which performs display on the basis of a signal processed by the signal processing device, and an IDCT (inverse discrete cosine transform) section 3 for performing inverse orthogonal transform on a signal corrected by the correction circuit 2 and thereby obtaining a corrected video signal.
