PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a controller which performs acceleration and deceleration by properly controlling a stepping motor without causing vibration even in the object of drive large in inertial moment. SOLUTION: This controller is equipped with a timing setting means T which generates a drive signal of such a structure that output timing is added in the first stage of a predetermined drive signal and generates a drive signal of such a structure that the initial output timing of the predetermined drive signal is deleted, and a drive means U which drives an exciting coil 13A, based on the drive signal from this timing setting means T.
