PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling structure for an electrical apparatus wherein the leakage of a coolant can be prevented. SOLUTION: The cooling structure for the electrical apparatus comprises a water jacket 300 provided on a housing 112; a cover that defines an internal space 325 between the housing and the water jacket 300; and a sealant that is placed between the water jacket 300 and the cover and prevents the leakage of the coolant. The water jacket 300 has an outer circumferential wall 321 that surrounds the internal space 325; and partitioning walls 322 that partition the internal space 325 and thereby define a coolant path 308. Recessed portions 323a are formed between the outer circumferential wall 321 and the partitioning walls 322. The recessed portions 323a are filled with the sealants. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
