METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR A UNIFIED CALL JOURNAL

A method for creating and updating a journal of communication events occurring in user terminals (11 - 16) which can be connected to a communication network (1,2), wherein the occurrence of a communication event in a connected terminal triggers an update procedure during which the following occurs: the terminal determines (32) and transmits characteristics of the event, including at least one identifier of the terminal that transmits and/or receives the event, to a journal server (5); the journal server requests (33, 35) and receives (34, 36) - from the profile management server- identification information on the user corresponding to the identifier for the terminal, and updates (37) a journal of communication events of the user, which is associated with the received user identification information and adds the characteristics of the event to it; the updated journal is transmitted to all connected terminals of the user.
