A shelf storage rack of the round type comprises races which are fixedly attached to a column and carry individual segments arranged to form a shelf. Each segment is provided with a running gear engaging a race in such a manner that the segment is individually adjustable. Thus, an opening formed between the segments for filling the levels arranged thereunder can be relocated to another position without larger rotational movements. Each running gear can be removed individually, allowing each segment to be removed individually for filling or cleaning purposes.
