The arrangement includes a controller that supplies a control signal through a communication interface during alignment phase. The control signal is used to select video initial and video input values from a look-up table (LUT) for the test samples of a generated test pattern. The video initial values and video input values are automatically entered into a computer, mobile telephone or PDA (personal digital assistant) which includes the LCD module.
