PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink holding body wherein the assembling work to a barrel body is easy, and troubles are reduced, and which is advantageous costwise because the yield of the manufacture of leaves rises as well, and is inexpensive and has a high quality, a laminating-fixing method for a leaf bundle comprising a plurality of leaves, which is used for the ink holding body, and an applying utensil and an ink jet recording device using the ink holding body. SOLUTION: For this ink holding body which temporarily reserves an overflowed ink from an ink tank 10, the ink holding body is constituted by stacking leaves 20 which expand into a flat plate form, and for the leaf 20, a plurality of protruding parts 22 are formed at locations where proper intervals are placed, on the surface of the leaves 20, and a gap part 24 to hold the overflowed ink is formed by locating the stacked adjacent leaves in approx. parallel with each other with desired intervals. Also, all the leaves 20 which constitute the gap part 24, come into contact with an ink introducing passage 14, and a cut and raised part 21 is provided at least at one place on the flat surface of the leaves 20. |
