A trip release apparatus of an electric circuit breaker is provided to improve the reliability of the trip release apparatus by preventing a plunger from being randomly protruded due to vibration or shock. A trip release apparatus of an electric circuit breaker includes a plunger(6), a stator(10), a slider(9), a trip spring(8), a permanent magnet(5), a yoke(3), an electromagnet, and a flexible member(12). The plunger(6) is maintained to be protruded in a predetermined direction. The stator(10) is arranged opposite the plunger(6). The slider(9) is maintained to hang on an end of the plunger(6). The trip spring(8) pressurizes the slider(9) toward a protrusion direction of the plunger(6). The permanent magnet(5) maintains the trip spring(8) in a pressurized state. The yoke(3) forms a magnetic path of magnetic flux from the permanent magnet(5) through the plunger(6) and the stator(10). The electromagnet forms a half magnetic field of a magnetic field generated by the permanent magnet(5) according to the detection of an abnormal electric current. The flexible member(12) is capable of expansion according to the protrusion movement of the plunger(6) by being formed to cover the trip spring(8).
