A display device is provided to prevent a thin film transistor of a dummy pixel from being damaged due to static electricity introduced from the outside and thus prevent the static electricity from being induced to a display area by removing the thin film transistor of the dummy pixel and directly applying a common voltage to a pixel electrode. A display area(370) includes display pixels formed in a matrix form. A dummy area(330,350) is formed at an edge of the display area and includes a plurality of dummy pixels. Each dummy pixel includes a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode and receiving a common voltage, a liquid crystal layer formed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and a voltage supply unit. The voltage supply unit supplies the first voltage to the first electrode.
