<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor memory device, a semiconductor device and a method for writing data that improve a writing speed. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor memory device includes: a memory cell array 20; an output buffer 29 that outputs an enable signal/CE2 that enables an external memory device 3 to operate; an address buffer 33 that produces an address ADDint where data is stored in the external memory device 3; an input buffer 27 that receives the data to be stored at the address ADDint from the external memory device 3; and a write data buffer 25 that stores the data received at the input buffer 27 and writes the data in a plurality of memory cells collectively.
