FULL-BRIDGE INVERTER AND CONVERTER FOR LCD BACKLIGHT

A full-bridge inverter and a converter for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) backlight are provided to improve efficiency by realizing inverter topology to secure a symmetrical characteristic of output AC current. A first switch(Q1) has one end connected to a positive terminal(PT) of DC input voltage(Vin). A second switch(Q2) has one end connected to the other end of the first switch and the other end connected to a negative terminal(NT) of the DC input voltage. A first diode(D1) has a cathode connected to the other end of the second switch. A first capacitor(C1) is connected between a connection node(NC1) of the first and second switches and an anode terminal of the first diode. A third switch(Q3) has one end connected to the connection node of the first and second switches and the other end connected to a first output terminal. A fourth switch(Q4) has one end connected to the first output terminal and the other end connected to the anode of the first diode.
