METHOD OF MANUFACTURING COATED MATERIAL, OPTICAL FILM AND ANTI-REFLECTION FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a coated material by which the unevenness of the thickness distribution of an applied liquid film in the width direction of a workpiece is prevented by fitting to the practical condition in the coating without needing high degree working technique to a coating head.

SOLUTION: In the method of manufacturing the coated material obtained by drying a wet state coating film formed by discharging a coating liquid from a coating liquid discharge part of the coating head on the workpiece which continuously moves while the upstream side of the coating head to the moving direction of the workpiece is kept in a reduced pressure state, the coating is carried out so that a gap between the coating liquid discharge part and the workpiece is previously fixed by a gap adjusting means and after that, the coating head is moved based on the measured result of the film thickness distribution of the coated material in the width direction to adjust the gap.
