A preparation method of detoxified Rhus verniciflua liquid is provided to prevent the abnormal symptoms caused by the toxicity of Rhus verniciflua. A preparation method of detoxified Rhus verniciflua liquid comprises the steps of: (a) drying the sap or bark of Rhus verniciflua at a fixed temperature; (b) mixing the dried sap or bark and water in a fixed ratio, and heating the mixture to remove the toxicity of Rhus verniciflua; and (c) supplementing the water in the step (b). The preparation method further comprises the step of adding a detoxification accelerant such as licorice root in the step (b).
