An illumination apparatus in a vehicle is provided to perform the illumination function for the passenger in backseat by controlling the illumination angle of the illumination. A push button member(16) become on or off by pushing. The pivot window(20) includes the lamp part(18) in the inner housing. The hinge section(22) is formed to one side of the pivot window. The hinge shaft(24) is formed in the inner wall of the inner housing. The gear(28) having a stopper(26) is formed in the outer circumference of the hinge section. The damper gear(32) rotates around the hinge shaft.
