PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bar-like light source device capable of always emitting a constant quantity of light. SOLUTION: The bar-like light source device is combined with: a bar-like light transmission body emitting linear light by diffusing and reflecting light after entering from an end surface inside; a light source arranged in close contact with the end surface of the light transmission body, so as to efficiently make the light enter the inside of the light transmission body; and a photosensor arranged in close contact with the light emitting surface of the light transmission body, so as to monitor the quantity of the light emitted from the light transmission body.
