a reception unit configured to receive information representing a transmission drop resource, that has been set, during which the wireless transmission apparatus is designated to drop transmission of a reference signal; a reference signal generating unit configured to generate the reference signal; and a transmission unit configured to transmit the reference signal in a transmission resource that is not the transmission drop resource among one or more transmission resources used for transmitting the reference signal, wherein, in the transmission drop resource among the one or more transmission resources, the transmission unit drops the transmission of the reference signal in the transmission drop resource, when it is determined that an interference caused by the wireless transmission apparatus is high based on a determination criterion.
