PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detector which achieves ease of mounting on an apparatus and has an enhanced characteristic of discrimination between segments.SOLUTION: A radiation detector includes: a first scintillator part 20 having a first segment 21 and a first light scattering part 22; a second scintillator part 30 having a second segment 31 and a second light scattering part 32; a light detection unit 80 optically connected to a first end face 23 of a first segment 21A positioned on the side of far one side S1 in the direction D and a second end face 33 of a second segment 31A positioned on the side of far end side S1 in the direction D; and a light guide part 70 optically connecting a first segment 21E and a second segment 31E positioned on the side of far end side S2 in the direction D. The first segment 21A and the second segment 31E are optically connected each other. The first segments 21A to 21D and the second segments 31A to 31D are optically separated from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
